whats your internet speed?

well when i download stuff it is 50-60 kb p/s
but when i go over my 5GB per month limit, it will go down to 4 or 5 kb p/s

i went to my friends house and it was like 1mb per second.
i was amazed. i know that there are faster but it was kinda cool because i have been with slow internet for ever.

I download stuff at about 500~700 kbps. But on torrents sometimes I get to about 1300kbps. But we only have 12gb usage every month so I use it up pretty quickly:D

We download at a turtling speed of 27kb/s this speed is absolutely ridiculous, and we pay $69.00/m Can someone tell me if I'm being ripped off? I think we have 12GB of allowance.

its 10gig, but yeah i think we are being ripped off, it was set up so many years ago...

I think your being ripped off quite a lot. We pay around $90 per month but this includes our phoneline as well so I think its a pretty good deal. We got our wireless modem for free as well.

Interesting, yeah we pay around 50 a month for our phone bill, so ill speak to the 'rents and see what offers we can look up but yeah im sick of slow speeds when someone else is using another computer lol it really is ridiculous. Although, it could be dial up... miss that connection tone.. (not)

But one thing I find bad about having fast internet is that you use up your internet memory up sooooo quicly. This month I actually used all 12gb in one day..

Yeah lol. I still download at 30kbps so its not that bad and I dont have to pay anything even though we've gone over the internet usage so thats ok

Same here, we've got Bigpond Royalty which does like what you said means that we don't get charged for going over. I remember our first Bigpond plan, 200MB big mistake, we went over in about an our, and with 200MB you do get charged! We didn't do that again!

lol 200mb. Theres even a plan like that? Who would choose that? I have 200mb usage on my phone lol.

actually we did it... for about three months, then the rents started to kill us.. yeah it was around 3 years ago. lol
