also,, u can change your theme and stuff. instead of the normal theme you can actually change the background of it to something that you would like. eg. if i liked pokemon, i could have a pokeball as the slide thing at the bstart. its ahrd to explain. look it up on youtube.

No, I haven't, it lags quite noticeably when you Jailbreak, plus im not dog to Apple. Im installing the latest 3.0 update now! I just downloaded it

Lol pokemon. But anyway the pros of jailbreaking is all the free aps but the cons are that it lags. Right?

it depends how reconfigered you decide to make it, for example if you had a video as a background, it will take up more memory in the iPod, remember iPods use memory just like computers except on a smaller scale, the more processes you give the iPod, eg. video background, the slower it will peform.

It depends on what you use to jailbreak it, some software installs third-party software with it, which slows it down.
There are other associated reasons for slowing, aka increased memory use. because you have things like backgrounds etc, it takes more to use it, and the ipod isnt used to running those sorts of things.
