Post by George Wed May 13, 2009 9:45 am

I want to get a video camera.
im saving up for one but i also want a mac. i want the camera quite alot more than the mac. and if i get the camera it will mean that i cant get the computer so im stuck with my slow windows xp. which means i wont be able to get any super high quality or high definition cameras.
does anyone reccomend a good video camera for under $1000

Be aware that amazon may not be the best place to get it from... its best to go into a store and try it out, maybe get the files you test on usb and use it on your computer to make sure its compatible. Because there is no use for a video that cannot be edited.

Umm check your cam settings there may be an option of choosing which format to save in, did you say this was a sony? This is an unusual format for them... Try finding a converter, i know you were looking for one before.
